About You

You’re a highly motivated, detail-oriented and quick-learning professional who can work independently with little oversight. You are motivated and hungry to launch a successful career in sales. You come armed with some sales and/or account management experience. You feel at home setting and beating expectations, providing exceptional service and building relationships with customers and co-workers. An efficient multitasker and administrative rock star, you can communicate, organize and provide service like it’s your job (because it will be).

Essential Job Functions

As a Sales Development Representative (SDR) you will play a critical role in introducing TowerData’s products and services to data-driven marketers across many sectors. Specifically, you will:

  • Identify high-quality prospects and nurture leads in order to establish meetings with TowerData’s sales team
  • Perform outbound activity, including emails and calls, to inform prospects about TowerData’s services
  • Organize your day, week, month to hit your “set meetings” goals
  • Identify new prospects while mining existing pipeline
  • Research prospective accounts to understand the needs of customers and tailor communications to speak to their pain and generate interest
  • Meet/exceed activity metrics for touch points, appointments set, opportunities added and prospecting
  • Proactively look for opportunities to improve and optimize the end-to-end outbound process
  • Log client interactions into HubSpot

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written
  • Eager to jump on the phone and send out cold emails
  • Strong autonomy over your own work cadence and relentless persistence to follow up with your prospects
  • Meticulous organization and time management skills
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  • Fast learner with the ability to work autonomously
  • Strong computer and internet skills
  • Positive, upbeat attitude

Nice-to-Haves

  • Email marketing experience
  • Familiarity with HubSpot CRM
