Fun fact: While Al Gore may have invented the internet, Amazon is the one running it these days.

Web services like Netflix, Reddit, Foursquare, Airbnb, LiveRamp, Rapleaf, Pinterest, TMZ, and many many more, all had issues on Monday when Amazon’s Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2) went down on the east coast for a few hours.

For those unaware, pretty much every web service (OK, slight exaggeration, but not far off) utilizes Amazon in some capacity, for their cloud capacity.

In other words, when Amazon has issues, we all have issues.

Why are we blogging about this, you may ask?

Because our website was down on Monday, and we are really sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused!!!
