Rapleaf and Joomla! – Empowering Small Business Owners

The Rapleaf API is a powerful tool that enables businesses to integrate personalization services into their systems. As great as it is to have this option available, it may have some limitations for smaller businesses and individuals. Enter 2011 and there are a whole lot more websites run by small business owners or individuals who want to take advantage of personalization, but maybe were never able to in the past. Two members of the Joomla! community decided to step in and solve this problem, so they recently integrated with Rapleaf to produce an extension for Joomla!, officially known as ‘Rapleaf Instant’.

Joomla! is an award-winning content management system (CMS) that enables you to build Web sites and powerful online applications. Many aspects, including its ease-of-use and extensibility, have made Joomla! the most popular Web site software available. Best of all, Joomla! is an open source solution that is freely available to everyone. Joomla recently looped into Rapleaf and the Rapleaf Instant Joomla! Component was just released. The integration creates a report about your site members’ demographics powered by Rapleaf data. Google charts are used to visualize the results of the report as well:
